We'll be heading out to Venice Beach for a special topless event on Saturday, August 23rd at noon. It is part of an event all over the country to protest the inequality of allowing men to go topless when it is illegal for women to do so. The police have allowed a short period where protestors can go topless without being arrested. For the rest of the time, pasties are required, and we'll be providing free pasties to our members. Our Deep Creek Hot Springs trip is on Saturday, September 6th. This is a hike into one of the most beautiful natural hot springs in the West, it is clothing optional, and one of our favorite hikes. Email us if you are a member to be put on the list and for more info.

Book Soup- Georgina Spelvin

August 20th

Hard to believe that Georgina Spelvin, star of the Devil in Miss Jones, is 72. And while long since retired from porn, she hasn't slowed down. She has a new book out, The Devil Made Me Do It, that recounts her adventures in the porn industry, and she'll be making a rare public appearance ding a reading at Book Soup in West Hollywood. By the way, her performing name comes from the long theatrical tradition of using it and the name George Spelvin in theatrical programs when the real actor prefered not to be identified or when he was playing multiple roles and only wanted to be credited once. The event starts at 7 p.m. Book Soup is located at 8818 Sunset Blvd., W. Hollywood, CA 90069.

Burning Man

August 25th - September 1st

One of the most unique events in the U.S., an entire city appears on the Black Rock dry lake bed . Part art show, part social experiment, it is a community that makes its own rules, is clothing optional, sex positive, and open minded. You can't fully understand it without experiencing it.
